Melinda and I are still here in Independence, connecting with First United Methodist downtown Independence. Melinda subs teaching Sunday School. I help with Pastoral Care and preaching. I'm enjoying being part of a five-person rotation team serving Avondale UMC (North Kansas City area). Also have subbed for Rev. Sarah Schofield Wimberly at Independence's St. Mark's UMC. Melinda and I help with painting and low-key maintenance issues at Wilderness Camping and Retreat Center near Lawson, Missouri. Melinda will be helping with Missouri Girl's State at Lindenwood University in June.
