Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
We continue to be bountifully blessed and wonderfully challenged! One big challenge was Hope, my wife, and I getting the COVID-19 virus in March. We traveled to Kearney, Nebraska, for the sandhill crane migration on March 10 and returned Friday, March 13; people come from around the world and someone brought the virus and shared it with us. Thank GOD, we did not pass it on to anyone at Harmonie Church, where I serve, during the worship on March 15th.
We just got back from a 21-day vacation, first visiting our children at Lake Tahoe for four days; it was wonderful. Our son, Jacob and his girlfriend, Sarah, traveled the four hours from San Fransisco, and our daughter Sarah flew in from Chicago to Reno, where we picked her up at the airport.
After saying goodbye to the kids, we traveled to Utah to see the big five national parks and several wonderful state parks. GOD'S creation is so amazing! We stayed five days with friends at different times during our journey in Grand Junction, Ouray and Telluride, Colorado.
Lifting you all to GOD in my prayers.
Shalom,
Doug
