The word "retired" - indeed the entire concept of being retired - has yet to gel in my brain. After retiring from Missouri Conference in 2015 and moving to Oklahoma, and nearly seven years of not being appointed, as of April this year, I am once again serving a church as a part-time local pastor in Oklahoma Conference (LOL on the "part-time" concept). And I still have time for my horse. I love being a pastor and feel quite humbled at having this opportunity. I'm daily praying for UMC pastors everywhere, that all will have the resources and wisdom to serve well, and do what the Lord wants.
