Retiree Friends,

Judy and I have just returned from a morning walk in the Lenoir community where we live, and we extend a happy, springtime greeting to all of you. Big news for us is birthdays and anniversary: Cleo turned 88 in February, and Judy turned 82 in March. We celebrated our 20th anniversary in March as well.

Last weekend we had a wonderful family celebration for anniversary and Judy's birthday. We included a renewal of our wedding vows as we stood around the altar in McMurry Chapel/Missouri UMC. It was a memorable, inspiring moment as our children and grandchildren led us through the liturgy, each one reading the pastor's parts. We have missed attending Annual Conference since COVID arrived but look forward to attending this year in St. Charles. Hope to see you there. I wonder if there will be some kind of retiree event?
