I am pleased to announce the publishing release of a new book about Dr. Elbert Cole, founder of the Shepherd's Center here in Kansas City and over 50 centers across the country. It is available at Amazon Books and it is titled: A PROVEN EXPERIMENT: The Shepherd's Center Story, By, With, and For Older Adults. Chapters are written by seven contributors!

On the 50th Anniversary of the Shepherd's Center, we celebrate the important role of boomers and older adults in the life of our church and community. All the proceeds of this book go back to enrich ministry by, with and for older adults!

On a personal note, Lori and traveled for three weeks with friends in Europe in September and visited 12 beautiful and historic cities in France, Portugal and Spain. Unfortunately, I came down with COVID on the last two days of the trip but am now doing well. We continue to love living in the Kansas City area. We love visiting with our four children and three grandsons!

I stay very involved as a coach/consultant and continue to facilitate Renovare's Book Studies and other small groups. I also still love telling stories and jokes!
