Things are going well for Bruce and Peggy Jeffries at Lenoir Woods in Columbia. We have been waiting to attend the Baptism of our grandson, Lucas Ian. Like our children, Nathan and Amy want him to be baptized by their Bishop. Unfortunately, their Bishop has had some health issues the past couple of years. We are anticipating that it will happen in June.

Peggy will be preaching at the Maundy Thursday service at Lenoir. Bruce has inherited the Music Director’s position at Lenoir, playing the organ at most worship services and directing the Vespers Choir each Sunday evening. He’s using skills he learned over 40 years ago, but while being a pastor, didn’t have much chance to use them.

We attend Missouri UMC regularly. Peggy works with the AV crew, and Bruce sings in the choir.
