Discipleship Coaching with Rev. Mark Statler



Discipleship Coaching offers a model for creating a transformational, multiplying discipleship culture within a ministry context. Through this coaching model you can develop a focused vision for where you’re going and a creative plan for getting there. In this class, Rev. Mark Statler teaches helps you get started using Discipleship Coaching in your ministry.

About the Instructor


Mark Statler has been a Missouri Methodist all his life. The last 30+ years he has served in a variety of cool places around the state as a pastor and currently serves as the Director for Leadership Excellence in the Missouri Conference Office. In addition to his family, a consistent source of joy for Mark is teaching, especially about the Bible. His hobbies include music, KC Chiefs, Duke Basketball, golf, grilling and piddling around with minor home repairs.

This course is one of four within the Launching Lay Ministry pathway for laity learning and discernment. Courses on the Launching Lay Ministry pathway are required for individuals pursuing either Certified Pulpit Supply or Certified Lay Minister in the Missouri Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
