The Professional Administrators of the United Methodist Connectional Structure (PAUMCS) was organized nationally on April 14, 1982 in Dallas, Texas. The Missouri Chapter was chartered in 1985, and the General Council on Finance and Administration is our certifying agency and approved sponsor.  Legislation was officially adopted at the 1988 General Conference for our inclusion into The Book of Discipline (907.13).

PAUMCS is open to United Methodist Church Secretaries, administrative assistants, general office agency personnel, Episcopal personnel, district personnel and Annual Conference office personnel. Membership shall be open to all persons presently or previously, paid or volunteer, engaged in administrative and secretarial work in any local church or beyond the local church, extension ministry and/or in any agency of the United Methodist Church.

Join us for the Missouri Chapter PAUMCS Virtual Fall Conference September 10-11, 2021 

Conference Theme: Learning together how to be more Mind-Full and Mindful Administrators  


The Missouri Chapter of the Professional Administrators of the United Methodist Structure (PAUMCS) is happy to host a variety of talented leaders that will share how Administrators, (secretaries, volunteers, assistants, pastors, etc..) can be both MINDFUL & MIND-FULL. Our theme will touch on the various tensions we encounter in the administrative context.  

The conference will consist of relevant topics such as: Copyright (are we legal) & Graphics (creating presentations, worship services, etc.), How to have Conversations with Difficult people, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality (taking care of self) and MUCH MORE.


You will note this is a Virtual Conference so we can maintain the health and safety of those across the state!
