This site is meant to serve as a resource for those who wish to remain United Methodist and do so with purpose, meaning and joy. We hope it offers support to those people who are feeling displaced or disconnected from their local United Methodist Church families due to disaffiliation.
There is no one-size-fits -all solution to determining your next steps, but this place might serve as a place to examine your options and receive some pastoral care in the process. Most of all, please remember you are not alone as you and your friends are beginning again.

If the church where you hold membership is disaffiliating, and you haven’t found a new place to call “home,” we invite you to move your membership to another United Methodist Church. If you need some time to consider, please know that a disaffiliating church is not disaffiliated until the annual conference votes to approve the local church’s decision in June 2023. If the annual conference does approve the decision and you’re still not ready to transfer your membership, you may transfer your membership to the Conference for a season of transition. The Conference will receive your church membership and notify your current church.
