UMW 13th Annual Mission Walk

Each year during Annual Conference Session the United Methodist Women get up early for a neighborhood stroll. Mission Walk t-shirts were sold at the UMW Booth at Annual Conference Session for $20. The shirts were paid for out of the UMW budget so all the proceeds from the sale go directly to mission.

This year the Mission Walk started at 6:45 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, at the Expo Center in Springfield and concluded with breakfast at The Downtown Church (https://thedowntown.church). The Downtown Church was previously a second campus of Wesley UMC, but on Sunday after Annual Conference Session Missouri Bishop Bob Farr went there for a chartering service, in which it became its own new church.
