Puerto Rico Giving

April 03, 2019

Progress continues in our work in Puerto Rico. The church roof has been replaced, the clinic is repaired and ready for the next plans of the Methodist Church of Puerto Rico, and our teams are working on homes in the community. Over 45 teams have registered to serve and you can find updates on the work at: www.volunteerinpuertorico.org/updates.

However, we need your help! As of March 1 we have raised $97,264.79 toward our $150,000 goal. Would you be willing to contribute part or all of your Easter offering to the rebuilding fund for Puerto Rico? As construction moves into the interior of the church, funds are needed to replace materials in the children’s ministry space, rebuild a kitchen used for outreach to the local community, and rebuild the water-soaked stage and chairs in the sanctuary. Your help will aid in bringing the project past the finish line and restore hope and ministry in Esperanza, Vieques!
