Kara Myers, from Grace United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit and Rachel Sapp, from Huffman Memorial United Methodist Church in St. Joseph, recently returned from the Ludhiana Christian Medical College in Ludhiana, India. For the next two years they will be serving as our two new Missouri Conference Ludhiana Mission Ambassadors, a program of the Missouri Conference Creative Ministries Team. While in Ludhiana they learned all about the medical college and hospital but concentrated their attention on children in the pediatric wards.

They are prepared to speak to UMW, UMM, Youth Groups, Sunday School Classes as well as speak on Sunday mornings. They can help you with pictures, videos and other materials and ideas for a mission emphasis for your Vacation Bible School such as the one that Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church conducted last Summer (MissionCast # 377). Contact them also about having a Taste of India Benefit Dinner like the one held at Missouri United Methodist Church in Columbia (MissionCast #269).
