Local Churches Can Apply to Host Mobile Camps

By Raymond Varner

The camping division of the Missouri Annual Conference Next Generation Ministries is pleased to announce a one-year partnership with the Eagle Lake Navigators. Under the direction of our Next Generation Mobile Camp Director Raymond Varner, this partnership will assist the Next Generation Ministries in the launch of our own mobile camping ministry. The Next Generation Mobile camp ministry is an incredible week filled with adventures and unforgettable experiences right in your own backyard. With five full days of amazing activities, United Methodist college-age caring and enthusiastic staff, and engaging Bible studies, campers will experience the best of camp on-location.

During the summer of 2015, churches can take advantage of a special introductory rate of $25 per camper. United Methodist Churches applying for a Next Generation Mobile Camp agrees to reach a minimum of 50 children/campers (a maximum 100 children may attend) between the ages of 7 to 12 years old in their community at $25 each. The Office of Next Generation Ministries will resource churches with free marketing materials and a mobile camp consultation to help prepare local churches for an effective and fruitful outreach experience. In addition, all of the registration will be handled by the Office of Next Generation Ministries and our partner.
