Rural churches are vital to their communities but sometimes struggle to know how to best engage and provide support for local needs. The Mark Twain District’s 2019 Rural Ministry Now conference seeks to:
Provide resources that directly impact rural churches in three important areas: Poverty, Youth, Technology
Empower participants with resources, tips, and ideas that can be put into practice the next day
Help churches know that they can work in these areas effectively, even with limited resources
The Rural Ministry Now conference seeks to provide ideas and training for church members to help support thriving, hope-filled rural churches across the Mark Twain District and beyond. Come join us as we draw together rural church members from across the Midwest for a day of learning and fellowship.
Global Connect Training

Whether you want to help people down the block or halfway around the world, learning some of the best practices in service and mission will help all involved. Mission often meets people in vulnerable situations, as a result, strong training and a network of connected people is critical. Join us on March 9 at Liberty UMC, Rush Creek Campus, for leadership training and development. We will talk about best practices in mission, answer questions, and provide you resources to be a better mission leader. Learn more and register at www.moumethodist.org/globalconnecttraining.
