Congregational Excellence Hires New Missional Strategist

News

We're pleased to announce that Rev. Geoff Posegate has accepted a part-time role as a Missional Strategist with the Center for Congregational Excellence, beginning on September 1, 2019. Posegate will work primarily with the transformation of existing churches, serving as a point person for congregations engaging in the Multiplying Kingdom Impact (MKI) consultation process.

On July 1, 2019, Posegate retired from full-time ministry after 43 years of service in Missouri, most recently serving as the Executive Pastor of St. Paul’s UMC in Joplin. Roger Ross, Director of Congregational Excellence, shared his enthusiasm about the hire, “We are thrilled to have Geoff’s wealth of experience as a highly effective pastor in a wide variety of settings. His broad knowledge of pastors and communities across the state will be invaluable to our transformational work.”

The Center for Congregational Excellence continues to search for a full-time Missional Strategist to advance the creation of new places for new people and the transformation of existing churches. If interested, please contact Roger Ross at rross@moumethodist.org.
