Deadline: October 1
Only complete applications submitted through the online form will be evaluated.
In the Missouri Conference, we value language-based congregations and seek to provide support to enhance ministry efforts in your current contexts. Therefore, the Center for Congregational Excellence has created one-time boost grants of up to $25,000 per church for language-based congregations that can demonstrate new ministry initiatives or new life over the past three years.
This funding has no restrictions. The goal is to assist in areas that have the greatest need (e.g., staff, ministry programs, supplies, building maintenance, etc.).
The recommendations for grant funding will be made by a diverse sub-committee of the Congregational Development Team.
Step 1: Complete a grant worksheet (Word Doc) and send to your District Superintendent and others to approve and sign.
Step 2: Complete the digital grant application. Once you have finished filling out the grant worksheet and have all the approved signatures, go here to complete your online grant application.
IMPORTANT: Jesus saves but unfortunately the online grant application does not. Once you start the application, you will not be able to stop and restart. You must complete it and submit it all at one time. That’s why completing the grant worksheet first will ensure that you do not lose your information.
Step 3: Attach the following with your grant application:
Step 4: After you submit a completed digital grant application, along with your signed grant worksheet and W9, your application will then be reviewed by a diverse sub-committee of the Congregational Development Team and the Center for Congregational Excellence. You will be notified by November 1, 2023, as to whether you have been awarded a grant. You may be contacted sooner by someone from the CDT or CE team if we have questions or need clarification on your application.
