About this Course

Spiritual gifts are sometimes considered mystifying, complicated, and hard to understand. Yet, learning about how God has uniquely equipped and gifted each of us is a step towards understanding our calling as God’s children and how we are called as kingdom workers on earth. Dr. Yvette Richards, Northwest District lay education coordinator, will teach this course.

There is no pre-requisite for this course. It’s free and open to anyone who wants to learn.

This course is one of four within the Launching Lay Ministry pathway for laity learning and discernment. Courses on the Launching Lay Ministry pathway are required for individuals pursuing either Certified Pulpit Supply or Certified Lay Minister in the Missouri Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. To learn more, visit www.moumethodist.org/laity.
