We are called to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world – but the mission field around us is not the one we came from and not the one our church was designed to reach. How can we faithfully fulfill our calling in these changing times?
Gain momentum for change by joining conference, congregational and church leaders at this year’s Route 122 Conference, November 28-30, 2018. Hosted by the Mississippi United Methodist Conference, Route 122 will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 6000 Old Canton Road, Jackson, MS, 39211.
The keynote speaker for this year’s event is Rev. Dr. Tod Bolsinger, vice president for vocation and formation at Fuller Theological Seminary and author of Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Uncharted Territory. Bolsinger brings decades of expertise in guiding churches and organizations through unchartered territory to help you reimagine what effective leadership looks like in our rapidly changing world. He also served as senior pastor of San Clemente Presbyterian Church and associate pastor of First Presbyterian Church of Hollywood.
Explore what is working, share resources and discuss the future transformation in the United Methodist connection.
