Emotionally Healthy Spirituality is based on the premise that emotional health and spiritual health are inseparable and that many of us get stuck spiritually because we haven't done the hard work of becoming emotionally healthy.

This 8-week ONLINE course, based on Peter Scazzero's book Emotionally Healthy Spirituality, will be taught by NW District Lay Leader Lori Bruens.

The Course will be offered via Zoom. There is no charge for the course.

Students will need to purchase course books. All three books are needed for the course. Below you will see purchasing options.

Attendees will be asked to complete the daily devotionals using the Day by Day guide as well as the assigned weekly reading of a chapter in the book. The workbook will be used in the online course sessions.

This course is included in the updated lay education certification pathway. This class is also a prerequisite for becoming Certified Pulpit Supply. To receive credit, participants will need to attend seven out of the eight sessions.

ANYONE can take the course; you do not have to be in the lay ministry process.

This is a great course to take to support the laity in forming a foundation for emotional health and spiritual health as you grow in your own discipleship and choose to lead others.

This class begins Monday, January 30th, and continues on Monday evenings for eight weeks, with March 20th being the last evening.

The class will meet 7:00-8:30 p.m. via Zoom

Reminder, you will need to purchase all three books for this class:  Emotionally Healthy Spirituality book, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Workbook, AND Emotionally Healthy Spirituality Day by Day by Peter Scazzero.
