When we hear the word “care,” we almost instantly couple it with “hurting” – insinuating that we only care when people are hurting. Realtime Pastoral Care, however, is more encompassing. It includes the everyday ways we show up for people – the listening, the awareness of peoples’ life experiences, the prayers we offer, the checking in on our congregants, etc.

During the global pandemic, and as we emerge from it, the ministry of care has become vital in reconnecting people to God and in making church relevant to their lives. People are seeking meaning, they are searching for affirmation in the new post-pandemic “normal,” they are searching for sustenance for their faith that has been tested in unanticipated ways.

How do we care for our congregations in ways that offer space for people to find meaning, confidence, affirmation, and sustenance? Our team will help you rekindle the art of care in ways that are relevant, life giving and that speak of Christ’s unconditional love.

This online training takes place from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Central Time, with 4 sessions focusing on different aspects of caring for your congregation.
