Class Summary 

The history and beliefs of the United Methodist church lays the foundation for our ministry, outreach, and testimonies. This introduction will trace the beginnings of the Methodist movement, John Wesley’s role in growing Methodist societies in England, and the fundamental doctrine that Wesley established for Methodists. The class stresses our Methodist heritage and its unique emphasis on grace, personal holiness, and social action ministry in our communities. This class will be led by Larry Johnson. The class is open to everyone.

This course is an advanced class in the lay education program and is open to everyone. Class fee is $10 to help cover snacks and any in-class materials.
