Class Summary 

The Class Meeting is a means of grace that has the ability to transform people and facilitate spiritual growth. The instruction is focused on the history of the class meeting, the basics of what should and should not take place, and defines the qualities of a class leader. Students will learn how and why the class meeting became an essential element of Wesleyan spirituality that expanded the Methodist movement for over a century in England and America. This class will be led by Mitch Ross, Southwest District Lay Education Coordinator. The class is open to everyone.

This course is an advanced class in the lay education program and is open to everyone. Class fee is $10 to help cover snacks and any in-class materials.
