The Soul Connections fall retreat invites both laity and clergy to experience rest and renewal. Together we’ll explore how BECOMING is a part of our everyday experience with God as well as a fluid, lifetime of discernment as we continue to respond to God’s calling in our lives.
To become is to discern what we are not yet and what God calls us yet to be. As we move towards becoming all the God wants us to be, we take many a turn – away from God and towards God – until at last we find ourselves standing in the center of all God wants for us. Our becoming is indeed a listening and a responding to the holy in our lives – a continuing to turn toward God when the world beckons us elsewhere.
BECOMING is the third in a series of four Soul Connections retreats centered on the foundational themes of connection, invitation, reflection and celebration. The retreats complement one another to form a personal, four-retreat journey over two years. At the same time, each retreat opportunity stands alone.
BECOMING will be hosted at Cross Pointe Camp and Retreat Center in Rocky Mount, Missouri. Sleeping accommodations provide hotel-level comfort and convenience. Delicious buffet meals are included in the retreat package, as well.
Cost with lodging and meals: $200
Because we value the gift of spiritual companionship and listening, included in the retreat package are multiple sessions with a spiritual director. There will be free time each day to explore the property, nature and surrounding area.
