The Soul Connections spring retreat invites both laity and clergy to experience rest and renewal. Using JOURNEY as our guiding theme, together we’ll explore how pilgrimage can be a metaphor for the spiritual journey. To embark on a pilgrimage is to leave where one is and arrive where one is not yet. We may find ourselves on an old road of initiation, a quest for healing, an walk of penance, a search for companions, a journey of deep reflection or even a hope for reinvention in communion with God.
JOURNEY is the second in a series of four Soul Connections retreats centered on the foundational themes of connection, invitation, reflection and celebration. The retreats complement one another to form a personal, four-retreat journey over two years. At the same time, each retreat opportunity stands alone.
JOURNEY will be hosted at Unity Village in Kansas City. Unity Village boasts 1,200 wooded acres, the largest fountain display in the KC metro, an award-winning rose garden and two buildings that are included on the National Register of Historic Places. The wide-open spaces and distinctive Mediterranean architecture create a tranquil atmosphere. Use your down time to explore the gift shop, walk the labyrinth, hike the grounds, or visit the coffee shops. Sleeping accommodations provide hotel-level comfort and convenience. Delicious meals are included in the retreat package, as well. If you choose to retreat with us, but desire your own lodging and food, please indicate that at registration
