EMERGE invites you to rest and renew your sense of connection and community as we emerge together from this difficult season. Using the story of Lazarus as our guide, we’ll reflect on the challenges we’ve faced, explore what inhibits us from moving forward, and claim the hope and promise of renewed faith and life together. Both laity and clergy are encouraged to engage in this retreat opportunity.

EMERGE is the first in a series of four soulconnections retreats centered on the foundational themes of connection, invitation, reflection and celebration. The retreats complement one another to form a personal, four-retreat journey over two years. At the same time, each retreat opportunity stands alone.
 

Lodging and Meals

EMERGE will be hosted at La Salle Retreat Center in Eureka. Lodging includes a simple, private sleeping area with a desk and sink in each room. Blankets and towels are provided. Showers and toilets are shared on each hall. Delicious meals are included in the retreat package, as well. If you choose to retreat with us, but desire your own lodging and food, please indicate that at registration.

Agenda

Because we value the gift of spiritual companionship and listening, included in the retreat package are multiple sessions with a spiritual director. There will be free time each day to explore the property, nature and surrounding area. La Salle Retreat Center is located on 180 acres of beautifully wooded grounds. You may walk the labyrinth or hike or bike the trails on the Western Greenway at the base of the hill. This is known as a birding area, so you might wish to bring your camera and journals.
