Grief is the natural response we experience when someone we love dies or we lose something to which we have a strong attachment. Everyone will experience grief many times in life.

Mourning is the transitioning through grief to reconciliation.

This training will help congregations learn how to better support people going through this natural, but painful transition. This training is open to everyone.

Supportive Community Training will be on Saturday, June 19 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm at Christ United Methodist Church, 14506 East 39th St. Independence, MO 64055.

Cost is $50.00 per person and will be collected that day via check or cash.
