This course covers some of the features of John Wesley's devotional life, and it illustrates how you can apply his concepts to your own growth through spiritual disciplines. Structured around Wesley's "Means of Grace," this class covers journaling, solitude, prayer, scripture, the Lord's Supper, fasting, Christian conferencing, and works of mercy in both personal and corporate form.
Description and details
This class will be offered virtually via Zoom in 4 sessions over two weekends. Please ensure you can attend each of the four sessions: Friday June 18 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm; Saturday June 19 from 9:00 – 11:00 am; Friday June 25 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm and Saturday June 26 from 9:00 – 11:00 am. Along with reading your book prior to the class, please be prepared for coursework to be assigned.

There are no prerequisites required to take this course. It will count as an advanced Lay Servant Ministry class in the Heritage group upon completion. Attendance at each session is required to receive your completion certificate.
The class will be limited to 20 participants, and the registration deadline is June 5. There is no registration fee.
