Not every person gives out of abundance. Responding to the diverse motives of giving can greatly impact how we ask and thank givers.

About this Event, Presented by MUMF

How often do we talk to our congregation about gratitude for countless blessings, as we ask them to give to the church?

It is true that we all have been the beneficiaries of an amazing, omnipotent God of abundance. This is a wonderful theological place for giving to be rooted from. Yet, people’s giving may have a variety of motivations and realities that are rarely discussed.

Not every person gives out of abundance. Knowing and responding to the diverse motives of givers can greatly impact how we ask and thank them.

Join the Missouri UM Foundation on April 8th at 1pm as we welcome guest speaker, Aimée Laramore, for an interactive webinar conversation about the heart of givers. We will explore the many ways that sacrifice, choice, struggle and empathy also shape people’s decisions to give.

This webinar is ideal for pastors, church leadership and anyone else that is interested in learning more about the heart of givers in their church.
