Dive deeper into the Enneagram

Have you ever noticed how different people are? Why do we all think, act and behave so differently? And what about you? How would you describe all of the facets of your personality? What makes you tick? Do you want to know? If you do, then let’s talk about the Enneagram! The Enneagram is an incredible teaching tool that will help you understand the dynamics of human personalities in a way you didn’t even know was possible. The Enneagram teaches nine primary personality types that are all going about thinking, acting and behaving differently in order to be who you were created to be. God has wired us all a little differently. This means the way to growth and maturity looks a little different for all of us as well. This is a life-changing opportunity for you to have a stronger understanding of God’s path for your faith and growth as a Christian. Take this important step towards your own health both as a person and as a leader.

Our October NextGen Gathering will focus on Enneagram and how to use it to help your ministry! If you don’t know your Enneagram number, you can take the test here for $10. If you need assistance covering the cost of the test, please let Maggie Lohmeyer know at mlohmeyer@moumethodist.org.

Speaker: Jim Voigt

Pastor Jim discovered the Enneagram when he was 39 years old while at a Richard Rohr conference in New Mexico. Since then he has found many ways to incorporate it into his own life and ministry. Five years later he attended Jerome Wagner’s Enneagram Certification course in order to become a teacher and coach. Jim is an ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church, graduated from Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, and is the Senior Pastor at Hallsville UMC in Missouri. He loves to go on adventures and travel with his wife, Kim, and daughter, Alexis. He is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys fly fishing, camping and kayaking.
