Schedule:

• As we continue to live into the new realities of Covid-19, Charge Conferences will be held virtually this year. We know there are a few churches who do not have strong enough internet access to allow for this.  Please let us know if this is true for your church and Linda will work with you to do either an in person, or conference call Charge Conference. As we continue to practice good safety measures, lack of internet will be the only reason for an in-person charge conference. Please note social distancing and wearing masks are required for in-person the Charge Conferences.

• Charge Conference will be a maximum of 30-45 minutes this year. They will be lead by Linda or one of a group of trained elders in the district. Our time together will include a devotional and video followed by the voting of the necessary Charge Conference business.

• The voting members of the Charge Conference for your church are the 2020 elected leaders to the Administrative Council (or Church Council or Simplified Board). Each available charge conference date is limited to 6-7 churches per time slot. If your church has a Pastor, the Pastor should Sign Up. If your church does not have a Pastor, the Church Council Chair or main contact for the church should Sign Up. Either way, please include your church's name in the Comments Section. The link to the virtual meeting will be sent to the Pastor or the person on the Sign Up. It is her/her responsibility to pass that information on to the leadership team prior the charge conference. The deadline to Sign Up or schedule your charge conference is Oct. 5 for all churches.
