Are you a motorcycle enthusiast? Join Missouri Bishop Bob Farr as he travels around the Missouri Conference on his motorcycle in support of the Mozambique Initiative. If you would like to participate in this motorcycle trek across the state, please register so that you can receive updates and information about the journey. There is no fee to participate in the ride, and riders are welcome to come and go, riding short segments with the group along the way. The ride in Missouri will take place September 29 – October 2 and will pass through all nine Missouri Conference districts.
The purpose of the ride is to raise money in order to purchase motorcycles for United Methodist pastors in Mozambique. Remote areas of Mozambique lack good roads motorcycles, which are the most common and practical form of transportation. One of these bikes costs $2,000. If you want to partner with Missouri bikers to help purchase motorbikes for Mozambican pastors, there are two ways to give.
