Youth Service Fund
The Youth Service Fund is a mission opportunity for youth helping youth. Money is received through fundraising at WOW and local youth groups having fundraisers for Youth Service Fund. Thirty percent of the money received goes to national and international missions that are for youth and being led by youth. Seventy percent stays here in this conference.
Local churches are invited to apply to receive grants from the seventy percent that stays here in Missouri. Grants are considered at the spring meeting of Conference Council on Youth Ministry. This year the date is April 9. All applications must be received by April 1. Grants need to be for mission outreach ministries. The ministries need to be for youth or led by youth. It can be mission trips, after school tutoring, a new ministry to reach youth in the community or a ministry to the community that the youth are leading.
