Valentines for Seniors

The Harrisonville youth and children visited a local nursing care facility to deliver Valentine Day cards and share the good news that God loves them. When they arrived at the first facility, they were told that there was so much sickness that they shouldn't enter. As they were getting back into the van, one of the children stopped the leaders and asked if he could pray for the people who were sick in the building. This young boy (elementary age) lead everyone in a time of prayer. God at work! Then they were able to go to another nursing care facility and deliver the cards and hear some of the stories of the people. They demonstrated God's love as they left their cards of love.
