ISBN: 0881773840 available from Upper Room, Cokesbury, or Amazon The Gateway Regional District is working in conjunction with Mid-State, seeking Lay Speakers to participate in a fresh concept in Advanced Lay Speaking courses. We’ve designed the first three sessions to be done online, mostly at your pace; and the last three sessions, including delivery of your prepared sermon, in a face-to-face setting led by your district or conference instructor. Previous courses conducted this way have received very favorable comments. The format allows additional preparation and learning time, and avoids multiple weekends with travel and other conflicts. Certification credit will be provided for the course. The District Face-to-Face (FTF) class will be held November 10th at First UMC Park Hills, 401 Taylor Ave, Park Hills, MO 63601. You must attend the FTF session to complete the course.
