Join us for a free live simulcast event featuring world-renowned author and retired Anglican bishop, N.T. Wright. Wright will share how the knowledge we have of God through Jesus Christ gives us the platform, not for an intellectual or practical take-over of the world on the model of normal ideologies or empires, but for the mission of God which is always through practical love, holiness, suffering and kingdom-work of every kind. All are welcome. RSVP at http://www.salemstlouis.com/speakerseries. The gospel is all about transforming communities. Wright is a professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St. Andrews and will be sharing lectures at Perkins School of Theology at SMU November 15-17. We hope you can join us for this lecture and discussion related to Wright’s book, Simply Good News: Why the Gospel is News and What Makes it Good.
