Keynote Speaker, Karen Hayden at 10am on Mentoring Ministry Candidates
As Christians we are all called to be ministers in the world. Some people are called to ministry as a vocation.
"Call experiences" differ from person to person. One common ingredient in many call stories is how God uses other people to help prepare the way for the call or help in discernment after the call.
As counselors, volunteers and leaders of camps, we invite you to learn how to better notice, name and nurture those God is calling to ministry as a vocation.
Workshop topics Building Relations with the Local Church (led by Sarge)
We will discuss ways in which event directors and counselors can impact the local church through helping in the camping ministry and when they go back to their local church. We will do some activities that can be used with campers for ice breakers and down time or free time. It will also be a time of fellowship with others and discussing some things that work and those things that do not.
Maximizing Your Site (led by the Bartons)
