Mid-State PAUMCS Chapter will host its next learning event, Communication
From The Inside Out on Tues., April 12 at the Conference Center. Fellowship
gathering at 9:30am, workshops begin at 10am. Diana Revelle will present How Do You
Communicate, exploring personal communication styles. District Superintendent, Elmer
Revelle will facilitate a review of Methodist terminology. Bishop Schnase will share his
perspective of using blogging as a ministry tool and a panel discussion will incorporate
how churches are using new technology such as Facebook, twitter, email blasts and new
design tools to communicate both within the church membership and to the community.
Holly Davis, Conference Graphics Design & Web Services Manager will demonstrate
how to set up a Facebook page as a ministry tool. Watch for Mid-State PAUMCS on
Facebook! We will also focus on effective email communication and cyber safety. This
workshop focuses on new resources learned from the national conference in Knoxville
just the week before. It will be a full day of learning, fellowship and networking as we
explore new ways to lead people to actively follow Jesus Christ. Participation in this
event will earn .5 CEU credit. Registration fee is $15.
