Nursery Attendant

Applications must be received before 4 pm Feb. 7, 2012. Availability to work in Church Nursery 3 to 4 hours Sunday mornings from 8:15 am to 12:15 pm, with the opportunity for additional hours at other church events. Preference will be given to applicants who are over 21 years of age. Those over 18 years of age will be considered. Nursery workers should not have child care responsibilities of their own during paid hours. Nursery workers are required to be CPR certified within three months of employment. Part-Time Music Ministry

Saint Paul's UMC in Joplin Missouri has a part-time position open in their music ministries. This is a worship leader position for modern worship services on Sunday mornings and nights. Individuals must be able to lead a full band with current worship music as well as current rock and pop music. The diversity of music in these services set it apart from a traditional style of worship and so, any leader will be able to bring creativity and new ideas into the worship setting. Applicants must be able to work well with a team of musicians and pastors in the creation of worship experiences and be able to play and instrument and lead music on their own. The Missouri United Methodist Foundation is the statewide charitable foundation for the churches and related organizations and agencies of the United Methodist Church in Missouri. The Foundation seeks a full-time Office Administrator.

This position requires an accomplished ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially use of Excel, Word and Publisher. Position responsibilities include all aspects of office operations including processing correspondence, interacting with customers (primarily by telephone), maintaining and using a mailing database, staff support for the Board of Directors and committees of the Board, event planning, website maintenance, administration of grant and scholarship programs, publications development, and other duties as assigned.

Youth Assistant/Contemporary Worship Leader

First UMC of Kearney is seeking a Youth Assistant/Contemporary Worship Leader to guide a committed group of musicians and vocalists in our Praise Band and mentor our Youth Praise Band. The Praise Band leads a contemporary worship community of 225 people each Sunday morning. Our Youth Praise Band leads worship during mid-week programming.

Youth Small Groups Coach

Manchester United Methodist Church is seeking a Small Groups Coach who will help to organize and support the various small groups of Manchester United Methodist Youth and provide connections for them with the surrounding city of Manchester.
